About the Author & Illustrator…
Nicola enjoys writing, playing the piano, guitar and ukulele, exploring in nature and dog snuggles.
As well as working in the GBV sector, she has been a teacher, a baby group leader, an au pair, and a chocolate maker.
She loves getting lost in the world of The Squishoos and hopes you will too!
Tesa is a British Indonesian self-taught illustrator. She loves animals (particularly her dog Angie), drawing and painting, being in and around water, and finding great vegetarian food!
As well as creating various illustration projects, Tesa has worked in gender-based violence (where her and Nicola met), bartending, teaching, marketing, and has flown all over the world as cabin crew!
